Prime Health Awarded International Standard for Quality Management
Prime Health Diagnostics and its sister company Medical Imaging Partnership are delighted to report that they have achieved the prestigious ISO 9001 accreditation following a rigorous company-wide external audit.
A healthcare organisation’s reputation rests on patient trust and security, and the ISO 9001 accreditation represents the company’s commitment, from across the organisation, to the consisent delivery of enhanced patient safety and high-quality patient-centred care.
Achieving this award is evidence that the reputation of excellence that Prime Health and Medical Imaging Partnership has earned over the years is well-deserved: ISO 9001 standards are based on seven quality management principles:
- Customer focus
- Leadership
- Engagement of people
- Process approach
- Improvement
- Evidence-based decision making
- Relationship management.
This accreditation comes only a few months after the group achieved the ISO 27001 standard with both projects led by Group Director of IT and BI, Dean Putland.
Andrew Lennox the Group CEO says: “This is an immense achievement. The commitment of our people across our sites and business functions to meet the stringent standards required, despite considerable challenges presented by the pandemic, was clear to see and I am extremely proud of them.
ISO 9001 underscores our efforts in providing systems and processes that provide patients with safe, reliable and exemplary services that meet the high bar set for this international standard. It also represents a milestone in the company’s long-term growth and improvement and is a clear signal of our commitment to continuous improvement, performance, and enhanced patient safety.”
